Currently playing with the San Francisco Opera as a Season Substitute and with the California Symphony.
Former Clarinetist at the Kansas City Symphony, Music Director of the Kansas City Youth Chamber Orchestra, and Choir Director at multiple churches.
Taught Master Classes at University of Minnesota and Suzhou University, Suzhou, China and Former Faculty Member of Montecito Music Festival, Southwestern Youth Music Festival, and Korean American Music Foundation.
Performed as a guest musician with major orchestras including San Francisco Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Cleveland Orchestra, and collaborated with numerous other ensembles.
First Prize winner at the Seoul Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition and numerous other competitions; Third Prize winner at the Joongang Competition, Second Prize winner at the Korean Music Association Competition, and Semi-Finalist at major international competitions.
Earned a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA), a Master of Music (MM), and a Graduate Certificate from the University of Southern California, all with the Dean’s Scholarship; Earned a Bachelor of Music (BM) from Seoul National University, recipient of the Wind Department Scholarship.
