Clarinetist

  • Currently playing with the San Francisco Opera as a Season Substitute and with the California Symphony.

  • Former Clarinetist at the Kansas City Symphony, Music Director of the Kansas City Youth Chamber Orchestra, and Choir Director at multiple churches.

  • Taught Master Classes at University of Minnesota and Suzhou University, Suzhou, China and Former Faculty Member of Montecito Music Festival, Southwestern Youth Music Festival, and Korean American Music Foundation.

  • Performed as a guest musician with major orchestras including San Francisco Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Cleveland Orchestra, and collaborated with numerous other ensembles.

  • First Prize winner at the Seoul Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition and numerous other competitions; Third Prize winner at the Joongang Competition, Second Prize winner at the Korean Music Association Competition, and Semi-Finalist at major international competitions.

  • Earned a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA), a Master of Music (MM), and a Graduate Certificate from the University of Southern California, all with the Dean’s Scholarship; Earned a Bachelor of Music (BM) from Seoul National University, recipient of the Wind Department Scholarship.

  • Founder and Principal of Love and Hope Music School, Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
