Event Changes / Cancellation (Force Majeure) & Next Season Waiver Benefit
• Performance venue and event details are subject to change.
• Melodique reserves the right to adjust the performance date, time, venue, rehearsal schedule, and program as necessary.
• If the performance is postponed, relocated, or canceled due to circumstances beyond our control—including venue unavailability, natural disasters, public health emergencies, or government restrictions—Melodique will notify applicants/participants as soon as possible.
• If the performance is canceled and cannot be rescheduled, fellowship participation opportunities may be withdrawn.
• The application fee is non-refundable regardless of selection outcome or routine schedule/venue changes.
• However, if the performance and/or fellowship program is canceled and cannot proceed, all applicants will receive a one-time application fee waiver to reapply for the next MYAF cycle (if offered). This waiver is non-transferable.
• In the same case, selected fellows from this season will also receive a one-time waiver of the audition/recording submission requirement, in addition to a one-time application fee waiver, for the next MYAF cycle (if offered). These benefits are non-transferable.
• These waivers are subject to the next season’s program availability and do not guarantee selection or participation.
• This benefit applies only when the program itself is canceled and cannot proceed, and does not apply to routine schedule/venue changes.
Participation Requirements & Withdrawal Policy
• Participation in MYAF requires full attendance at all mandatory rehearsals and the performance. Absences are not permitted except in cases of serious emergency (e.g., medical emergencies).
• Selected fellows must confirm participation by the stated deadline. If confirmation is not received by the deadline, the spot may be offered to an alternate. Withdrawal after selection (personal reasons)
• If a selected fellow withdraws due to personal circumstances, Melodique may o er the position to an alternate (or substitute participant).
• Application fees are non-refundable. Insufficient rehearsal attendance / lack of preparedness
• If a fellow misses a mandatory rehearsal without prior notice, repeatedly arrives late or unprepared, or otherwise disrupts ensemble readiness, Melodique may take the following actions:
Written warning
Conditional continuation (probation with an improvement period)
Removal from the fellowship and replacement with an alternate (at Melodique’s discretion)
Photo/Video Recording & Release
• Melodique may photograph and/or record rehearsals and performances (including audio) for archival, promotional, and educational purposes.
• By participating in MYAF, applicants/participants grant Melodique permission to use their name, likeness, image, and performance footage (photo/audio/video) in printed materials, on the website, and on social media for promotional and archival purposes.

• If a participant has a specific privacy concern, please notify Melodique in writing prior to the first rehearsal; we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate when possible.
